Guideline for Xemex
CE RED marking is a seal of approval that shows that wireless devices comply with the European Radio Equipment Directive (RED) 2014/53/EU. This directive, which has been in force since 2016, ensures that products are safe, use radio frequencies efficiently and protect users from, for example, data theft and fraud.

Method of CE RED marking
- Prepare technical documentation
This includes information about the product’s appearance, features, interface and software. - Product tests
These are carried out according to harmonized EU standards. - Submit Declaration of Conformity

The procedure takes an average of 4 to 8 weeks. For more complex devices, it can take up to 12 weeks.
