Smart Connect P1: Compact Powerhouse for the Netherlands and Belgium

The Smart Connect P1 is compatible with smart meters featuring a P1 port (DSMR 4.2/5.0) and EMUCS. The dongle reads new energy data from your meter every second or every 10 seconds, depending on the meter type. Energy data can be locally converted and transmitted via Modbus TCP to devices such as EV chargers or batteries, and sent via MQTT messages to the ENNY EMS for real-time monitoring and intelligent control. This allows your devices to automatically respond to current grid load or consumption levels, while local systems operate independently via Modbus TCP.

Splitter function: smart data, two destinations at once
A particularly useful feature is the P1 output / P1 splitter. It lets you send the same meter data to two devices — for example, your charging station and a dashboard — without interference. The dongle supports various network options: wired Ethernet, Wi-Fi, or even a direct peer-to-peer connection with a charger. Installation is easy via the built-in web interface.

In Belgium, A1 telegrams are often used from AMR meters. The Smart Connect A1 reads these telegrams and converts them into Modbus TCP or MQTT data. Like the P1 dongle, it can forward data to multiple devices and connect to the ENNY EMS Cloud platform.
