A compact DIN-rail module reads the meters and systems and sends the data to the Enny Cloud Portal. There, generation, consumption, grid draw, and feed-in can be monitored in real time. This provides a reliable foundation for reporting, maintenance, and decisions regarding sustainability.
Purpose: What Enny Insight Measures
Enny Insight collects real-time meter readings for electricity, gas, and water, supplemented by data on solar panel generation and battery status. The data is clearly displayed on a daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly basis. This makes it easy to see how much energy a system generates, how much of that is consumed on-site, and how much is fed back into the grid. As a result, anomalies—such as an inverter shutting down or an unexpected spike in consumption—are quickly identified.

Enny Insight is a measurement and monitoring solution: the system does not control devices, but rather provides visibility into what is happening within a system. If the output of a solar system drops or consumption rises unexpectedly, this is immediately reflected in the Enny Cloud Portal. This allows the installer or administrator to take targeted action, often before the end user even notices anything. This way, control remains with the people who know the system.
Data and Reliability
Enny Insight uses actual measurement values, not estimates or predictions. This data comes from meters that comply with the MID Directive, making it suitable for reporting and billing. Thanks to the built-in SIM card, the system does not rely on the building’s Wi-Fi network. This ensures a stable data connection and keeps the local network separate from the installation.
Settings: Set up once, then get immediate insight
During installation, the installer sets up Enny Insight once using the Enny Installer App: which meters are read and how the installation is displayed in the portal. After that, data collection runs completely automatically. Users don’t need to configure or maintain anything and have access to up-to-date meter data from day one.
Installation and Scalability
Installation is performed by a certified installer, who configures the system using the Enny Installer App and connects it to the Enny Cloud Portal. Updates are performed automatically. Because the system has a modular design, additional meters or locations can easily be added later.
