• Apartment blocks and multi-tenant buildings
  The CompactIQ measures total energy consumption and reads the individual sub-meters for each dwelling via RS485. All data is automatically sent to the Enny platform, where residents can view their own consumption details via a personal login. This makes fair and transparent billing straightforward, including support for tenant changes.
• Commercial buildings and offices
  In multi-tenant buildings, the CompactIQ allocates total consumption across tenants or departments via linked sub-meters. In Enny, each user can view their own consumption, whilst the manager monitors the total and the allocation. Ideal for cost allocation and integration with billing or ERP systems.
• EV charging infrastructure and parking facilities
  The CompactIQ acts as a central metering solution for charging stations and car parks. It measures total consumption and reads data from individual charging points, after which all data is sent to Enny via SIM connectivity. This enables real-time monitoring, billing and integration with external back-office systems.
• PV installations and local energy generation
  The CompactIQ measures both generation and consumption within PV installations and reads additional measurement points via sub-meters. Enny provides a single, comprehensive overview of energy flows, enabling insight into and optimisation of own consumption and feed-in.
• Grid management and decentralised assets
  For grid operators, the CompactIQ collects measurement data at locations such as distribution boxes and infrastructure assets. Via direct LTE connectivity, this data is sent to Enny, where centralised insight into consumption, deviations and grid load is provided without the need for additional IT infrastructure.

• Public charging points
  The CompactIQ is ideal for integration into public charging points for electric vehicles. Thanks to its compact size, it fits into narrow enclosures whilst delivering reliable energy metering and wireless data communication via LTE-M. This enables real-time monitoring, billing and grid balance management – crucial in the growing EV ecosystem.
• Traffic infrastructure
  Traffic lights, matrix signs and street lighting are often scattered across the public domain, where traditional meters do not fit or are not cost-effective. The CompactIQ makes it possible to monitor the consumption of these installations remotely. Thanks to the optional external antenna, connectivity is guaranteed, even in metal or shielded enclosures.
• Remote network management and monitoring
  Network operators and energy suppliers can use the CompactIQ for continuous monitoring of network segments, transformer stations or nodes in the low-voltage network. The meter accurately records consumption and supports day/night tariff switching, load profiling and secure communication (AES-128), making it suitable for automated management.
• Submetering for solar panels and installations
  In solar parks, multi-unit buildings or commercial installations, the CompactIQ can be used as a submeter. This allows energy consumption to be analysed and optimised on a per-installation or per-user basis. Thanks to its flexibility and communication functionality, it is ideally suited for dynamic EMS applications.
