Xemex is looking for a driven Sales Manager who can successfully position both hardware solutions and SaaS-based energy services in the market. In this role, you will identify, develop, and manage new and existing markets in Belgium. You will be responsible for both the partner channel and direct customers. You build strong commercial relationships, translate technical needs into clear value propositions, and work on long-term contracts and recurring revenue.

What will you do?

As Sales Manager, you are the driving force behind expanding our market presence in Belgium, with a strong focus on SaaS services, energy monitoring, EMS solutions, and data-driven energy management. You maintain and strengthen our customer and partner network. You identify technological needs from both new and existing customers and partners, follow up on these proactively, and translate them into concrete solutions. And of course: you are the one who closes the deal.

You understand both the technical side of our solutions and the business needs of our customers, enabling you to convert insights into commercial results with ease..

Taken en verantwoordelijkheden:

  • Identify and attract new partners and customers in the energy market.
  • Position and sell both products (P1 solutions, gateways, EMS hardware, energy meters) and software services (monitoring, EMS control, dashboards, API services, licensing models).
  • Build recurring revenue by securing multi-year SaaS contracts.
  • Proactively manage existing accounts with a focus on upsell, cross-sell, and expansion of SaaS usage.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with installers and energy companies.
  • Inspire, activate, and guide partners so they embrace and promote our solutions.
  • Identify and develop new go-to-market strategies for our latest products and services.
  • Analyse customer needs and translate them into suitable solutions.
  • Monitor market trends and technical innovations and identify new business opportunities.
  • Convincingly position and sell our services and solutions in the market.
  • Independently manage the full sales cycle: from lead follow-up and planning to forecasting and closing deals.
  • Bring structure to your work and market approach, including drafting and executing sales plans.

Who are you?

  • At least 5 years of experience in a technical-commercial role, ideally in energy, IoT, SaaS, or energy management.
  • A bachelor’s degree or demonstrable experience in electromechanics, electricity, ICT, or a comparable technical field.
  • A proven track record in identifying and developing new partners and customers.
  • Experience selling software services or licensing models is a strong asset, as is experience managing long-term recurring contracts.
  • Strong negotiation, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Commercially sharp with solid technical insight, enabling you to explain complex products clearly.
  • A natural relationship builder: you gain trust, motivate others, and foster long-term collaborations.
  • Results-driven, proactive, and independent, comfortable in a role where market development is key.
  • Fluent in Dutch with good English skills; knowledge of French is a plus.
