The CSMB electricity meter provides versatile and accurate measurements. Ideal for ModBus meter-based Active Load Balancing applications in EV charging systems. MODbus RTU/RS485, is perfect for load balancing in advanced energy management systems and smart charging stations.
Data from the analog meter is measured through current clamps. This data is transmitted via a MODbus RTU message to the charging station (i.e., charging station must talk MODbus RTU). The charging station is going to adjust its power according to the data from the CSMB, so that the maximum powers are not exceeded or that optimal use is made of the pv panels on each phase of the grid.
