Converters provide seamless communication between different systems by converting signals or data. They make compatibility and efficiency easy in any installation. Converters convert signals, such as from analog to digital or from one code to another. They can translate data 1-to-1 or adjust it by calculations. At Xemex, there are three types: Power Converters, Data Converters and Combi Converters

Protocol Converter A1MB

Xemex’s A1MB module is a DIN-sized converter module that converts Smart Meter A1 messages to Modbus over RS485 messages.

Current meter CSP1+

Xemex’s CSP1+ is a DIN-sized converter module that makes the contents of Smart Meter P1 messages available via Modbus RTU/RS485.

Protocol Converter P1MB

Attaches to the P1 port of the smart meter and transmits data from the smart meter to the MODbus RTU Master c.

Power Meter CSP1

The CSP1 provides real-time electricity monitoring with a P1 output. This makes it the ideal choice for smart charging stations.

Combiconverter SCC

The SCC collects data via current clamps or a P1 cable and adjusts load power for peak management and optimal PV consumption

Current converter CSMB

The CSMB converts data from current clamps to MODbus RTU signals for charging stations. Ensures balance and optimizes PV usage per phase.

Power converters and data converters

In electronics, it is often necessary to measure current in locations that do not allow or financially justify meter installation. This current is then converted to a digital signal that can be read by other devices in need of the current measurement.
