Do you have a passion for the energy transition and want to play a key role in our commercial growth? Xemex is looking for an entrepreneurial Head of Sales who will actively contribute to our continued expansion across the Benelux region.

In this role, you will be responsible not only for direction and structure, but also for actively driving business growth. You will focus on both new business development and account growth while further professionalising our sales activities. You bring focus, visibility and momentum, without losing touch with day-to-day commercial operations.

Tasks and responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a clear, future-focused sales strategy together with the team;
  • Expand sales operations through efficient processes, the right tools and strong internal collaboration;
  • Proactively drive new business opportunities and convert prospects into successful deals;
  • Develop and implement strategic account plans to elevate key customer relationships;
  • Work closely with R&D and Product Management to deliver demos, proof of concepts and validations that convince customers;
  • Build long-term strategic customer relationships and continuously identify new partnership opportunities;
  • Create realistic and accurate sales forecasts and keep the management team informed about results and market momentum;
  • Ensure commercial plans are translated into execution and measurable outcomes;
  • Collaborate with Product Development to translate market trends into innovative solutions that customers genuinely need.

What do you bring?

  • You have extensive experience in SaaS and solution sales and understand how to successfully position and sell recurring revenue propositions;
  • You are passionate about the energy transition or highly motivated to make a meaningful impact in this market;
  • You have experience leading a small team or coaching colleagues towards commercial success;
  • You have a strong technical understanding; an electrical engineering background is a plus;
  • You combine strategic thinking with a hands-on approach to sales;
  • You bring energy, persuasiveness and the ability to inspire others in a rapidly evolving market;
  • You thrive in a scale-up environment where not everything is fully defined yet;
  • You communicate fluently in Dutch and English; French is considered an advantage.
