Wat ga je doen?

As an Innovation Manager, you are responsible for defining and realizing the product strategy and roadmap, aligned with the broader company objectives. In this role, you translate strategic and commercial goals into concrete product and technical decisions while actively managing progress, quality and results.

You lead the Product Management team and ensure clear priorities, structure and collaboration between teams and external partners. Based on market insights, customer needs and data, you continuously optimize the product portfolio.

You act as the connecting factor between business and technology and make complex technical challenges understandable for stakeholders and customers.

Tasks and responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a strategic plan for the development of (EMS) solutions, including market analysis, supplier strategy and positioning.
  • Collect and analyze market insights and customer needs and translate them into new product ideas and innovation opportunities.
  • Ensure a structured transfer of product requirements to R&D.
  • Create clear use cases and business cases for both new and existing products.
  • Provide technical support to sales teams and (potential) customers in complex projects.
  • Lead and coach the Product Management team while ensuring structure and clear direction.
  • Coordinate and manage market introductions in new geographical regions.
  • Select, manage and optimize collaborations with suppliers and development partners, including contract management and quality control.
  • In collaboration with marketing, contribute to the written presentation of solutions for websites, social media and other communication channels.

Who are you?
We are specifically looking for someone with strong technical expertise and leadership experience; a specialist who understands the energy transition and can translate it into concrete customer solutions and technical projects. In this role, approximately 40% of your time will focus on consultancy, advisory activities and monitoring market developments.

  • Strong electrical engineering background (education or relevant work experience is required).
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role within a technical or innovative environment.
  • You combine strategic insight with a hands-on mentality and translate vision into concrete and executable (customer) projects.
  • You are technically strong and can easily switch between strategic thinking and technical depth.
  • Proven experience with customer interaction, consultancy and advisory projects within technical environments.
  • You actively follow developments within the energy transition and translate them into opportunities and solutions for customers.
  • You have a commercial mindset and know how to position technology convincingly towards customers and stakeholders.
  • Excellent command of both Dutch and English, spoken and written.
  • You live in Noord-Brabant and are willing to travel, including to our offices in Rosmalen (NL) and Antwerp (BE).
  • You are available full-time.
